Agnes E. Lindgren, born 26 Mar 1878 in NE, died 29 July 1968 in Oakland, Alameda, CA. She married Isaac Fritz Jacobson, about 1887. He was born Dec 1871 in Sweden, Immigrated abt. 1889, and was living in Alameda, Alameda, CA by 1900. He earned his living as a tailor. Agnes & Isaac had a child: 1. Emory Fritz Jacobson, born 6 Sep 1898 in CA, died in 1939, in Alameda Co., CA. He married abt. 1925 in California to Agnes Peterson. Emory's WWI Draft registration card informs us that he was a pattern maker employed at the Daw Diesel Engine Company located at Oak & Clement in Alameda, CA. However, he registered in Wahoo, Saunders, NE. He was described as medium in height and build, with blue eyes and brown hair. He listed his nearest relative as F. Jacobson, with the same home address. At the time of the 1930 Census, Emory was working in Oakland, CA, as a cabinet maker. In 1940, his widow & son were living in rental housing, while she earned a living as a bookkeeper. Emory and Agnes had a child: 1. Robert Emory Jacobson, born 24 Aug 1929 in California, died: 07 Oct 1988 in Santa Clara Co., CA. |
