Cervantes Vanden Bosch, Dr. Alicia Age 66 Omaha, NE. Passed away August 17, 2015 at Hospice House-The Josie Harper Residence in Omaha. She was born on November 16, 1948 in Zacatecas, Zacatecas, Mexico to Antonio and Alicia (Delijorge) Cervantes. Dr. Vanden Bosch received her Doctor of Pharmacy from UNMC College of Pharmacy in 1988 and spent most of her career as a Pharmacy Professor at Creighton University. She was currently working as a Creighton University Assistant Professor, School of Pharmacy and Health Professions and Institute of Latin American Concern (ILAC) as Pharmacy Director. She was an inspiration in educational and professional growth both inside the field of pharmacy and in serving the community. Dr. Vanden Bosch is preceded in death by her brother, Jorge "Coco" Cervantes. She is survived by her husband Donn Vanden Bosch; sons: Antonio Vanden Bosch and his wife Becky, Daniel Vanden Bosch, and Herman Vanden Bosch; granddaughters: Tisha, Cinda, Lexi, and Brooke Vanden Bosch; parents, Antonio and Alicia Cervantes; brother, Antonio Cervantes Jr.; sisters, Martha Warner and her husband Stevie and Chuve Shroder and her husband Barry. Rosary will be Friday at 7:30pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 2310 "O" St., Omaha. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be Saturday 10:30am at Our Lady of Guadalupe.
