Philip and Marcella are buried in Saint Peter Cemetery, Platte, Charles Mix, SD, with their daughter, Phyllis.. Marcella and Philip had a daughter: Phyllis Rubida. born 9 Jul 1940, died in 1940. She died as an infant, due to complications from Polio. Polio also crippled Marcella, who walked with boards strapped to her legs before becoming wheelchair-bound.
